smile - priceless
The sun was out the shopping was cheap and i had good company. I dont know what more i could have asked for. There is something about a car boot sale that puts a smile on my face, add the sun to the equation and you have an ecstatic Isabelle. :P. But serious, i heard that we were going to have a car boot sale about 20 min walk from where i live so i got together with another blogger Shanté and we made our way there. I didnt really have any expectation but i managed to find some amazing pieces and i will be doing a mini haul for you guys soon ( arghh i dont know what happened to the shopping ban :( ). everything i bought came up to £6.20 and its amazing when you consider the fact that i managed to score a nice tan vintage bag. We were quite late getting there so i think most of the nice things were gone which i think was a blessing in disguise since i really do not need anymore things atm. I will be moving back home to nottingham at the end of june and as it stands i have about 2 cars full of things.
As for the fashion side of things.... I kept things really simple. I brought this maxi dress from boohoo last year and have not found an occasion to wear it until now. I love the colour and fit of maxi dresses and although some of you will think this one is not very summerly for me the light grey is perfect since it really compliments my complexion. I wore this nice denim jacket that i have had for a few years. (i am currently on the hunt for an oversized denim jacket that i want to distress and maybe even tie-dye) . I then accessorised with my nice lulu jelly shoes from office. I love jelly shoes ( maybe a jelly shoe collection?) and you guys will be seeing them a lot this summer when its warm since they are just so comfortable to wear. I could not have asked for a better weekend and i hope that you guys had an amazing one as well.
