Last weekend it was my cousins traditional engagement party/ ceremony and she looks so beautiful that I can not wait to see what she looks like for her white wedding. Since I don't currently live in London, I don't really get to see my family that often (They all live there) So any excuse to go down south is always welcome with me. It was so lovely seeing and catching up with people some that I hadn't even seen for the past three years or so.
For my outfit I was really boring and went for a classic LBD, though I guess for a family affair I was quite daring with my thigh high split. The shoes were the best idea ever though if I say so myself. Not only were they beautiful. (Thank you Topshop) but they were so comfortable that even though I spent about 12 hours is not more in them I was fine at the end of the day and no sore feet. Makeup was not an adventure for me as I went for some falsies and a nude lip.
Its so good to see young people, some who were not even born in our country nor have ever been being so emerged in our culture and traditions. If you follow me on snapchat then you all already know about the cow and how it was not an illegal when given to the bride.( feeling lost- So was I when they even bought out a cow doctor)
Is she not just one of the most beautiful brides you have ever seen?
It was so lovely to see everyone and to be there to support my cousin on her lovely day and i cant wait to see what the future has in store for her and her husband.
I will talk to y'all later but if I am late with posting please bare with me. I have started my job now and its involves waking up too early to travel and then I am so tired when I finish but I am just waiting to get into a routine and have my grove back.
Love ya and talk to y'all soon
