Hello.. It's me

I haven't forgotten you and I am still here but as you all know life has a habit of getting in the way.

So much has happened since we last spoke I cant believe its been over 6 months since I last posted anything. Its a New Year and I am excited to start blogging again. For a while there I didn't think I was going to continue with my blog.

I am but a small miniscule fish in what is essential a really big pond. I didn't think anyone would miss me if I stopped and then  got an email from one of my very first followers asking me if everything was ok and if I was done with blogging. It made me question whether I was really ready to say good bye to something that makes me really happy and has enabled me to do  things and meet people who I would not have had the opportunity to meet. And simply said the answer was a big resounding no.

The New Year is always a time for reflection and planning. Whilst last year was hard for me,I also feel that it allowed me to grow as a person. Taking time out allowed me to look at all aspects of my life and reflect on the choices I was making and whether or not those were the right choices for me. I start the new year with hope and happiness and i am excited to see what 2017 will bring for me, personally and professionally as well.

So what has been happening...

1)A really good friend of mine and one that has been featured on this blog passed away back in May 2016.  This was just after my Grandad passes away in February and I guess it hit me really hard and made me take time out to just really evaluate my life and learn from her as well. She loved life and we shared a passion for blogging, travelling and law. Since her death I am trying to make sure that I put nothing off and that I live my life for me with hopefully no regrets.

2) I have been really busy with work. Its a busy time for us at work and a few weeks ago I was trying to get my Training Contract as well. Whilst I did not get it in the end it was really good practice and it has given me a solid and good foundation for next year.

3) I am finally learning how to drive. It has taken me over 7 years but I am finally serious about this and learning. This is taking up a lot of my weekends and evenings and what with working full time as well , I just never seem to find the energy to sit down and put pen to paper. Or go out and take some outfit pictures etc. Call me crazy but I also decided that it would be a great idea to have a weekend Job and so on weekend I can be found in the Pandora Store in Nottingham.

4) And this is really the most important reason. I just needed time. I needed time to adjust to all the changes that have been going on in my life and time to deal with the passing of my friend and the disappoitment of once again feeling like a failure since I didn't get my Training Contract. I needed time to build myself up again, to start to believe in myself and all that I can do and I just needed to leave my head and join the living world again.

And so I just wanted to say hello.. again. I am still here and hopefully will be for a long time to come. I am back with some new ideas and exciting new posts to share with y'all soon.
I have also been travelling the last few months and been vlogging my travels and so please check my Youtube page .

How have you guys been and whats new. Catch me up with y'all.

I will talk to y'all soon and Happy New Year.

Love Issie
